  That what he said, I tried to say, but I think he might of meant people use it to often as a crutch and not a relationship with Christ/God.

  They just use religion as a "oh this will make me better" like people use alcohol to forget things.

  It's not always that easy. I was on schoolies week, a bit like the American spring break, with my friends. I was surrounded by friends yet felt alone. One day jumped off a cliff into the ocean. There was no one around. I had 2 choices, swim out to sea or climb out over the oyster covered rocks. I decided to not let them win. I climbed out and returned to the house. My life has had it's ups and down but I always reflect on that decision and remember I am not letting the barstards win.

  Since that day I have travelled the world meeting amazing people and seeing amazing sights (pissed I didn't have TW then). I have 2 daughters, a loving wife, a mortgage and a job.

  I failed by HSC, I never went to Uni. But I have worked hard and make 6 figures.

  Best of luck on your journey. I almost gave up, best decision I ever made was not to give up.
