I listened to a lot of white guy blues back then. Johnny Winters, the Stones, Clapton. Then I went more real roots blues, Robert Johnson, Mississippi John Hurt, Elmore James. Now I like African blues, Ali Farka Toure, Tinariwen, Boubacar Traore.
