Sherry here, great news! We are granted a reprieve! We are taking Sara home for the week! Her wbc is holding at 2400, and she has perked up and is excited. Jaimie is the best guy in the world and both Sara and I felt fab after our spa treatments. I even sipped italian champagne in the limo.
I am in cleaning overdrive, the dogs will go to a friends house and all houseplants too. Sara is still having respiratory problems and we dont need mold in the house.
I am sure you will hear from her, as she is pouting for HER ipad 😊

Sherry here, we got the ok to take Sara home for a week. YAY but. It is confirmed she has aspergillus again. This is a bad resistant mold and last time it was active she was in dire straits. So lets pray her thru this and keep her spirit up. Wizzoo!!!!

I have never read a forum post that was so emotional and moving. Each update from page to page I was hoping for the best. Thank God for you and for this inspirational experience. I will certainly pray for you all throughout this journey and PLEASE continue to update us all. I'm so humbled by the TW community and am so glad to be a part of it. Blessings to all.

Sherry here, we drove all nite with Sara snuggled in the back of the car and hit the beach about 5pm. She was sooooo surprised! I helped her with the new clothes we got her, a baby blue hoodie set, and Jaimie carried her to the water edge. She giggled uncontrollably when the water lapped at her tiny feet. She and i are aquarians and our spirits were born where the water meets the sky. No matter what, there is a constant comfort in each wave.....they have always and always will come.
We are giving Sara the neupagen shots for wbc growth, and a shot for red cell growth. She has gained 3 lbs.
We are strengthening her soul.
Whatever happens, we have done our best. Jaimie took FMLA saying we are getting married, and took some out of our nest egg, and i am still working with sara's art. Sara's family is being more than generous. And several went with us to the ocean.And whatever, we comuned with the ocean as a family again. That was so important to me.
So come Monday! We are ready!

I don't know if I've ever actually been moved by a thread in GD. Or anywhere for that matter. Keep her soul strong and fight like a girl!

I have never had anything moved, and the community as a whole seem to want to cheer sara on. And evenhave offered when she gets better to let her cap ther territory.
I want nobody upset, but will continue with the majority. Thank you KMSidenote, sara hade ice cream today and declared it to be a cure lol!

I like the thread. I was saying that reading her story and struggle is moving. That's a good thing. Please keep posting the updates.

I would love if she hopped over to scotland via the nearest airport! She will be more than welcome in helensburgh and can have some of my turf.
