Anyone feel like having an intelligent conversation? Maybe history, biology, or fourth dimensional geometry related? No one I know is smart enough to have a decent discussion with me, my parents included.

If it really is opposite day, and you say it's opposite day, does that mean that what the person is saying is true or false, because if the opposite is true then wouldn't saying its opposite day mean that it can never be opposite day?

How do you think the Soviets would have held up in WWII (and before) if Trotsky had become leader like Lenin intended?

Also, what do you believe caused the rout at Tannenburg in 1915?

I believe opposite day revolves around doing activities that would generally be considered opposite of what your normal routine consists of and that statements such as the fact that it happened to be opposite day are not rendered opposite themselves. So no. Saying " it is opposite day" would mean, "it is opposite day." satisfactory I hope?If it really is opposite day, and you say it's opposite day, does that mean that what the person is saying is true or false, because if the opposite is true then wouldn't saying its opposite day mean that it can never be opposite day?

What is your opinion on the possibility of reverse time travel and, given the current rate of technological growth, when would you estimate that we may be able to leap along or "fold" a geodesic?Mr. big'uns wrote:

It's all about how you view the relationship of matter and energy. I think of matter as potential energy. Since potential energy becomes kinetic energy, then dark matter making up the majority of space makes sense to me at least. There's more too it, but it would take a long time to expand on.💔Gяɛɛɴϻɑɳҳṗһıʟㅌ wrote:

The reality is that technology has already surpassed our humanity. Before time travel is even a blip on the radar we will have lost all interest in our past and future. I would guess that before we even get there we will have destroyed our technological society and reverted to hunters and gatherers with a much smaller population that cares more about food and water than global communications and digital knowledge bases.
