Well, people like havoc are taking a lot of stick for it. Evenutally this tactic is going to eliminated completely with coding.Superyan wrote:
I never said anything about lowering mob. I range 50k mobster all day. Am I Explioting?✗Oςϵιοτ✗ wrote: Snip
1. Joining just for the benefits of short range is. Asking someone just to join your vendetta just so you have a small range is exploiting.2. Lowering your mob to get a better range is exploiting. This isn't really a strategy for vets is it?
3. Yes, it's frowned upon. I changed it from banned because I didn't think that through. It's a dirty tactic.
And why can't you get small guys to join your vendetta? It's a fair tactic. If the vendetta averages your overall mob, this tactic was intentionally placed. -
Ryan, I like you, but why are you arguing with ocelot? He knows what he's talking about. I'm sorry but judging by your mob you don't spend much time on the map. Ocelot spends plenty of time battling on the map. That's the best way to gain experience and really know the tactics.

Your singling out one guy. Everyone joins a vendetta with low mobs. And it's not an exploit. what everyone's crying about Is the "low mob invincibility" exploit" which in many ways is mostly taken care of. That's a totally diffrent tactic.✗Oςϵιοτ✗ wrote:

Your confusing Explioting with Ranging -
Well here's a few, that the FRVS uses/has encountered:
-We often use the "Guerilla War" tactic. What you do is if you have one person in your V with a high stamina, and attack, and one player close to someone's turf. The larger player ER's the smaller player, so that the smaller player, doesn't use any stamina, when the bigger player is leveling the guy's turf. Then, the smaller player, comes out of the ER, so he can, cap the OOC'd turf.
-The Terrorist Tactic. Vey effective, but also destructive, and has no benifit, it only ruins the game for everyone. You cap, and tear down, in a highly populated area....That's it.
-Spam attacks.
No not PM's (not necisarilly), if you're in a V, sending public messages on the wall, will fill the target's "News". Turf attacks work best. Preferably done late at night... -

I have one that's too brilliant to share, sorry. I've never seen anyone else have it either.

I've got one, too. Wonder if it's the same one? I've never seen it mentioned anywhere, but I used it very effectively once.I have one that's too brilliant to share, sorry. I've never seen anyone else have it either.

I went after a guy once. I hopped to his cluster, made my turf the same color, and named the turf the same name as the other turf in the cluster.

You make secret alliances and force people to fight against each other. That's how you win. Mob count does matter but friendships/alliances mean more. They can't touch you if you befriend the right people. This game is a lot of politics.
