Oh the Irony

So I was looking at a leather case for stuff. I see a tag and out of boredom read it.
It says, "Genuine leather, Made in India"
I'm not explaining it though. Figure out the irony.

-
Does that mean it is a holy case?
-
That is pretty ironic. Because A lot of people in India worship cows. That is hilarious
-

4 minutes gap between OP and your post ...
You might not have googled some key words along the lines of
'relevance of leather in India', would you now?
Because, you know that would be cheating, wouldn't it now. 😒😏😉 -

True. Cows are held sacred. Not worshipped. Kind of like the muslim's Dome of The Rock, or the Israelite's Temple, which existed where the Dome of the Rock now stands.cptpiratemonkey wrote:

Both were/are sacred, neither are/were worshipped. -

Yes a bit of irony there, although leather can be made from a variety of animals including; lamb, deer, elk, pigs, buffalo, goats, alligators, dogs, snakes, ostriches, kangaroos, oxen, and yaks.

It's really inappropriate to make comments as such. Be a little more sincere to other cultures. Categorizing people like that is unfair. India has plenty of great things to offer this world.

One of the posts I was responding to was deleted. Next time I will be sure to quote foolish stereotypes, so others can see. Thanks for being a pansy and deleting your post.

Before I get mad, realize this. I was just saying it is ironic that the main religion in India, Hinduism, most sacred animal has it's animal being killed and the skin is being shipped international for products. It's really inappropriate to make comments as such. Also, I never said anything degrading towards India. It is a wonderfully rich country. Culture, religion, history, and people.

It had nothing to do with your comment. It had to do with the comments regarding Indians using humans for their leather. The one in particular that was the worst was deleted right after I made my post. Sorry for the confusion. I do see the irony in what you saw though 👍☣ĢħΘȘτ ιΘƈƲȘτ☣ wrote:
