I read in another forum that in many Canadian traditions especially in Toronto the number four is considered evil. That many building don't have a number four and people generally try to skip it much like Americans do the number 13. Is this fact?

Interestingly the admissions ward at the hospital I work is 7 and there isn't a ward 13.
