Here's some bad luck..

I'm driving my car to work when suddenly I see a state trooper pull off to the side in front of me. As soon as I go by him he flips the lights on and pulls me over. As I'm pulling over to the side of the road I hit a big piece of metal that destroys my right rear tire. He than comes out and gives me my second window tint ticket in the SAME DAY.
Another good day for me 😉 -
Sorry dude. I don't think that's legal to ticket you twice in the same day by the same cop for the same thing.
-
They can't do that to u u can get the second one thrown out as long it was in the same day and they have to give u time to fix that
-
Yeah I was surprised. I'll have to look into it

What's a window tint ticket?

There are legal amounts of tint. The window has to let through a certain amount of light to be within the legal limit.Zenyoul wrote:

Not really, imagine driving round at night with sunglasses on, that wouldn't be very safe at all. Having a heavily tinted window does the same thing.Rik1 wrote:

Tint is also popular among a set of people that cops are somewhat wary of as they approach cars. It's not just a public safety law, it's a police safety law.
-
It is also for police protection so they can see into a vehicle when they are walking up to it.
-
Here's the best part, my windows were rolled all te way down.
-
Dam that is bad luck.

👆👆👆👆 exactly. My step dad is a police officer and they carry scrapers in the back of their car that can scrape off the window tint. They pull someone over for tinted windows, and the person gives them lip, they just scrape all the tint off their windows. It is also for police protection so they can see into a vehicle when they are walking up to it.
-
In Hawaii u can have 5% on the rear sides and back window but front windows and windshield need to be 35%
-
In Minnesota you can only have your car tinted 50%. If you drive a truck you can have the back windows as dark as you want.
So by this logic, does it mean people that drive trucks are always good people and people that drive cars are all going to shoot a cop? -
At least you didn't get into a car wreck for the first time yesterday

I don't believe that is legal. The police have no right to damage your property like that. All they can do is ticket you.vinnie the deal wrote:

They can do it. They can sit there and make you scrape it off yourself before you drive away as well, or they can impound your car.ང྄٣д乙¥ СдгᎦᎧл wrote:

He is right, I have illegally tinted windows and if I am reversing out of a driveway at night I need to put all the windows down to see. Mine are 5% and legal over here is 35% so go figure lol 😏Zenyoul wrote:
