  Ty for the advice, my parent have been married 39 years..and even though statisticly speaking u are right, your only doomed to failure if u start off with that in your head.. I will do what i can to avoid that, but i wont know unless i try

  There's nothing wrong with it at all, infact it's a great idea to show your commitment if you have previously turned him down.

  On the flip side if you want hI'm to ask you then drop hints that you are ready for marriage ad he might ask you instead :)

  I'm not trying to put you down, but just try to say to keep this marriage running. Haven't we all seen divorced parents? Did you ever notice that their children have to go through a lot along with the parents? It ruins lives especially those of the children. Make sure this is a great marriage and you'll save you daughter from a bad life. I just wanted to give some advice.

  I wasn't really traumatized when my parents divorced, but was only 8. Which, remarkably, was 3 years ago. Go figure.

  Your English is impeccable, for an eleven year old. Admittedly, you did make two minor mistakes: you missed an 'I' between the 'but' and the 'was' in line one, and the word 'which' should not begin a sentence.
