I ate alligator for dinner tonight. My first time.. What other exotic ( or at least more rare than some ) foods have you eaten?

Eat alligator often here in Louisiana, and tomorrow being good Friday, we are having a huge crawfish boil(most families do) I tried squid the other day, it was the most disgusting thing I have ever tried

I've had buffalo on a burger. It was pretty good. A bit gamey.

Look up "maanoomin." it's a wild grain that grows in the lakes around here. When you harvest it you get a million rice worms with it. We eat the worms raw when on the lake and roasted when we parch the rice. They are a half inch long, look like a maggot but are YUMMY.

But the most exotic think I ate was a 1000 year old duck egg.
No joke. I was at a china town and I bought it (fairly pricey) it looked like shit and tasted like shit. Lol.
