Pride is standing up for yourself and your rights, you are not you are willing to let the goverment walk all over you with a big smile on your face, so no you don't have pride, but you know that's your decision, this is a conversation for people with pride and knowledge of things beyound what newspapers tell you. You're suggesting I have no pride?
Your argument is based on 'what ifs' and paranoia.
9pm curfew... Come on... 😃

And you really think this is paranoia? Maybe it would be if it has never happened before, but this sort of thing has happened in the past, using pretty much the same technique, their are some countries where the goverment won these things because of people to scared to speak up. I am only using real life events and scenarios to back up my 'paranoia'

Look, Comments deleted because I keep falling into a trap of trying to discuss such things with those who can't see reason.
If you choose to look for conspiracy then that's your right. I'm not about to try and change that. If you choose to live in an unprotected society that's your choice.
Please dsiregard my previous comments and carry on.
I'm going to continue enjoying my life of liberty without looking for reasons to hug trees and write banners.

There's a good artical in the i newspaper today about this issue, could help explain some of our concernes better than we can, give it a look, 20p, page 13.

Can't see reason...other than completely disregarding what me and others have said, you have not actually provided any factual information, ok nor have I but 243-165-789 certainly has provided a good argument. I suggest reading the article he has suggested.

This is how it starts.
It's not about saying I have nothing to hide its about why do you feel you can look?
The key is, the government works for us, not us for them. It's crucial that you understand that...
Man I'm actually begining to envy the US and the gun laws -

A real life 'head-in-the-sand-er'.

It is a waste of time trying to snoop on everyone. If you really wanted to keep your email secret, encrypt it with PGP before you send it. Or set up your own email server or webmail server. Or setup a million free webmail accounts and cycle through them systematically. Same goes for browsing the web - use a proxy or an anonymyser service. Or use internet cafes, or other Internet access points away from your home.
This is a blatant imposition on our privacy and should be fought! Call your MP and complain.

It's a matter of time before sky net becomes self aware and fucks up everything, let's not play with fire and leave well alone ! I'm all for counter terrorism and prevention is better than a cure but if this comes in everyone should go offline out of protest or send millions possibly billions of emails a day so that actually they can't afford to keep up and abandon this pointless campaign !

Weather we have something to hide or not it's an invasion of privacy and it's taking away our privacy rights all it takes is 1 security error or 1 hacker and the world could have access to our personal data. It's a gross abuse of power. Government works for the people. NOT the other way around. This isn't some extremist Muslim state this is supposed to be a free western power. It's fucking gross.
And if you think you have nothing to hide so let them you are both an idiot and part of the problem
