As many know, I was banned.
Forums โบ General Discussion โบ As many know, I was banned.-
So yesterday I was banned from the forums quite literally out of no where. A comrade of mine posted this in the forums and I received many PMs of support and offerings to help. Well apparently it worked. So I must thank everyone who put in a good word for me and who stood behind me. I have made my mistakes pissing people off in the past. But I have found it more enjoyable to merely be a nice guy, with good ideas (I hope), and who try's not to cause to many waves.
But I must say, this is the second time I have been banned from the forums. The message I received was as follows: -
TW_Support says:
Thank you for your message.
You've been temporarily banned for posting your code in the vendetta forum. This ban will last 24 hours.
Also, being rude will not get your ticket answered any sooner. You were banned by our forum moderators. While your frustration is understandable, any rude comments are completely unnecessary.
Tap "Reply" if you have any further questions or comments. -
What did you send them?
-
Posting a code in the V fourm? That's a new one.
-
Please wait to comment I have more and the time filter is making me wait.
-
It wasn't messages of support that got you unbanned. Bans only last 24 hours.
-
I rarely if ever post my code in the forums and make sure that I try to hit the right forum. As far as I know I have not mistaken this ever. But I have now been banned for this twice and I do not believe that this is the true reason for the ban. I was in fact talking about a very sketch subject in the open forums and I don't think many agreed with. So I would just like to know the real reason for the ban. Why did I get banned when I clearly wasn't in the wrong?
One disturbing message that kept repeating itself from many people was, " the debs have been banning a lot of people who don't deserve it lately" if this be the case then I say it is time for a management change. If not, I think we need to get to the bottom of it. I highly enjoy the forums and try very hard not to troll or be a thorn to anyone. One thing that clearly comes with posting you code in the forums is many messages about it and many attacks until it is taken down, neither of which happened to me as punishment for doing something wrong.

I just ask that everyone be treated fairly. I have spent a good deal of money on this game in the hopes it goes to better the expense for EVERYONE who plays and to keep the game running for a long time to come.
I have not written this message to piss anyone off or offend anyone in anyway. I just wanted to bring this problem to light and maybe attempt to help to find a resolution to it.
Thank you all for your time,
GTR36And @ Belial; it wasn't a full 24 hours. Wether or not it was by enough time passing or by the support of others, the main message I am trying to put out is basically thanking everyone for the support and messages I received. I was fairly angry for being banned and to know that many people stood behind me really helped.

In explanation; again, I was fairly angry when I wrote into TW support and was using foul language. For this I do apologize. I had no right to begin my messages being rudeTW_Support says:

IT WAS THE ILLUMINATI THT BANNED YOU. CONSPIRACY.

And thus part of your problem. You need to be very polite when hamdling such matters.

I understand that but didn't choose to use my head instead of anger to resolve the situation. For this, again, I really do feel remorse. But I do feel justified in the anger that I felt for being banned. I feel as if it was a false ban, for the second time. But to USE anger instead just feeling it is where my fault lied in this particular situation. And thus part of your problem. You need to be very polite when hamdling such matters.

Lol @ your desire for a mgt change. ๐
Good luck with that.

Anyway, regarding your ban, if you were posting on something you consider "sketchy" (whatever that may mean), then don't post about that again.
Seems that might solve the problem if you think that was root cause.
Maybe the mod that replied to your feedback simply misspoke by accident. I'm not sure there is some big conspiracy against you.
All my guesses though. Not sure what else you are looking for with this post.

They reserve the right to impose forum bans for any reason. However, it would be nice if they at least told you the real reason for the ban so you know. Since they have the right to ban you for any reason, I wouldn't think there would be any reason to lie about it.

By the sounds of it, your wiping your chin and saying thankyou. 24 hours is a fucking day. You can go without the forum for a day! Your friend was complaining that you got banned from the forum for a day? Bullshit!

You don't have much to show for your thousand. Dude, get over yourself. It was a ban for a day. Whoop de doo

ZOMG (whatever the Z means) there is a conspiracy against you because you have been targeted because of either your popularity which is in competition with nick, or maybe certain people like to plot things against you to watch you suffer! Yeah!
By the way, who are you again?
