Bamboo actually has rings on it with little thorns you can't seen it has something on it that is high phosphourous chemichal compound b4 which is an irratant of the skin like a mosquito bite. Not normally to do anything at all but if you have allergize or you might be allergic to it it could cause mild shaking but it's odd y were you cutting bamboo?

my backyard is loaded with it. All in the back. It's kinda like a barrier between me and my neihbors. What's weird is it's only my left hand that's shaking. It's stopped for the most part but it still shakes alittle. Hey if I keel over and die make sure someone makes a "R.I.P. Iggyupyours" thread lol

It's the shears, it happens to me when I prune for hours on end. The muscles that you normally don't use are exhausted.

uh south jersey...bamboo is a pretty hardy plant and it takes over other plants. So I'm not really that surprised that it grows here.
