For the last 5 years my blood sugar never got below 240 at best. Tried several different pills to control my numbers because I just wasn't mentally ready for insulin and the needle in the belly every day. Well, the last 13 months, my blood sugar has peaked around 460 and wouldn't come down. So my doc talked me into insulin. I use this insulin pen and shoot into my thigh one time every night. The morning after my first night, I went from 437 to 171. Highest my number has been now is 220. And I've been feeling a lot better.

I have had juvenile diabetes since I was 4. I am on an insulin pump.

Damn bro sorry for ya. My father in law is diabetic. It's gotta be rough sometimes. And you're a braver man than me. I'm terrified of needles. But it's good you're doing better. At least it's worth it. Don't wanna take a chance with your life ya know.

Can't find my copy of the results. I know it was bad. And I remember the number 14 somewhere.

Thanks Grimm. Thankfully I have a good woman who is very supportive and a damned good cook.

Right on. I'm sure having support makes it easier. And she'll probably regulate whatever you eat now lol. If she's a good cook at least it'll taste good though. Just take care of yourself. My wife's great uncle got a diabetic infection and ended up losing his leg over it. I never knew that could even happen until she told me about it.Thanks Grimm. Thankfully I have a good woman who is very supportive and a damned good cook.

I personally know people who have lost toes and half their feet.

Be careful. That shit is crazy dangerous. My gf father had high glucose so he gave himself a second dose! THAT'S THE EXAMPLE OF WHAT NOT TO DO!!!!!

The doc started me on only 10 units of insulin
