  Unfortunately I have to agree. I say it's unfortunate because a civil discussion or debate about these topics doesn't stay civil for very long. It ends up turning into a pissing contest and one person telling another they're stupid and assholes and so forth and so on.

  C'mon, no one is forced to read a thread or comment on it. I skip plenty of threads because a) I'm not interested, or b) I don't feel like a war of words on an online forum.

  Saying people shouldn't post on a topic that gets ugly makes no sense. They get ugly because people spend time posting and arguing. Who's choice is that?

  If someone wants to post Muslims Come in Here or any other religious discussion, fine with me. But they need to know some jackass is going to end up coming in and saying something stupid. I won't read those threads because I know what they turn into.

  But obviously, some people enjoy them and enjoy arguing online. Just because I think it's stupid doesn't mean no one has a right to post it.
