I have to agree. The Godfather only killed by stabbing and shooting a couple guys. Tony Montana killed his best friend with his barehands not to mention surviving, I believe 5-6?, assassination attempts and deadly situations!

The godfather characters wouldn't get into a direct fight with tony Montana they would just send their men to kill him.

I don't know. I might have imagined that scene. I tend to add plots that I think are better than the one that exists, and then add those better scenes to my memory. I would have had Tony choke his best friend to death, while that super weird tone music that elevates and de-elevates from kill bill when Beatrix Kiddo does something cool, plays. Then he'd mumble something about him and Gina, while his sweat drips on his friend's face....

The music I imagine is from the third scene in Kill Bill one right after Beatrix Kiddo rings the doorbell and Vivian Greene answers and they make eye contact. Except my song doesn't have the don-da-dun-da-da-duuuum at the end. Just the WWWWWWMMM-WAAAAHHH-WWWWWWMMM-WAAAAHHH-WWWWWWMMM-WAAAAHHH-WWWWWWMMM-WAAAAHHH

The Godfather was born into a world of crime, and tried his hardest to go legit. Their crime was providing protection services to those that needed it when the police wouldn't. In the end, both Corleone Godfathers died of natural causes.

Tony Montana was born into a life of poverty, and clawed his way into criminal power with murder and cocaine. He died young, clinging to a phallic symbol.

In a fight between them, the Sicilian families would win. Tony was alone. The 5 families had an army.
