Anyone think we will ever get a mob cap?

B, last time I recall you were a "top player" then you chose to take a break. You know it has been a perseverance game all along and that your choice would more than likely affect you negatively yet you come in here and complain anyway. If you wanted to be a consistent top mob then your CHOICE to stop punching was obviously a poor one indeed. You can't blame the game for your own moves, well you can try but most see thru it. Am I thrilled the codes are still coming down the pipe at an insane rate, nope but I decided I would stick with it. The last 6 months has seen mobs grow to points we figured were years away by the old standards. Quitting when you did was a hard choice, but one you made fully informed and of your own will.

This game is about punching. To put a cap on it would be ruining what the game is about. And there will always be people at all different levels to fight against. There is no reason why, just because some people don't want to punch and increase their mob, there should be a cap. And, B, of you are so stuck up that you don't find a game fun just because you aren't the best at it, I suggest you go find a different game. The premise of this game is to punch, punch, punch.

My summary of this thread.
Belial was one of the early mobsters, and at one time was number 2 on the leaderboard for top mobs.
For whatever reason Belial took a months break from TurfWars. The result of this was that other players passed him and he is no longer on the leaderboard.
Belial would like the rules changed as he does not believe hard work will allow him to catch the top mobsters. Further he us upset that he can not beat the top mobsters in a fight 1 on 1.
My opinion

How about some mob members "die" after fights whether you win or lose. A sliding scale could be used so large players couldn't mass murder smaller players.

This game is Turf WARS. Wars are fought with mobsters. If ya don't have mob, you can't do much.Carpenter wrote:

Thus says a player with 4k mob ^

This game is fine the way it is except the V low mob exploit. We all know what this game is and we choose to continue to play it. I know that being 22k mob I will never catch the big players unless they quit or go inactive for a long time but I still punch on a regular basis and will continue to do so. Because that's what u need to do to become good in this game. If u don't like it stop playing but y change the game because u don't way to play it the way it was meant to be played.

Once again the game wasn't made to be constant punching. And by nicks old admission web he told me "although some punching is going to be necessary if you're playing only to be the biggest mob I can guarantee you're not having fun"

I can't even read this whole thread. Belial, go outside and do something that's NOT TW related please. 😒

At viper. I knew what retiring from punching meant. At the time I felt I had no choice. That's a major exaggeration, B. I have never seriously punched codes, and I've missed most of the "months" of punching, and even reset a couple of times. I am not out of the game. You, yourself used to promote that mob isn't everything. This game is what you make it. I make it a social and diplomatic game. So, I don't spend countless hours punching... I still play the game. This game has serious and drastic problems when if you even miss punching for a month or three you're forever completely out of the game.
Though, 65,535 would be a nice limit. :)

Yuck, I'm not into mini games. An awesome idea would be to cap mobs then have a mini game to help break through the stalemate
This is just one of those issues where we've gone round & round about it every so often over the past 2 years, but no one can come up with a better & feasible solution.
-
I would love to stop punching. Honestly, I would, much better to invest my time elsewhere. But I enjoy playing the game at the rung I'm at so I carry on.
If a mob cap came in it would be rubbish due to stalemates and the only deciding factor would be (under the current system) who could spend the most money on the newest stalemate breaking loot.
Saying that, there isn't really much of a stalemate anymore since the invention of melee class weapons that meant similar size mobs could fight each other and win. Much more chance of that now than before.
If there was an alternative to endless code punching I would love to hear it.

Maybe a new server(?) where everything starts from zero.
Similary to other games. -

Not a real feasible plan. None of the established players would go due to the amount of money spent on this server and it would be great for the noobs for a little while but both servers would suffer. The established players would slowly fade away with no fresh infusion of new players, and to be honest the new server would suffer from lack of leadership and stability the older players bring to the table. In a progressive game like TW one group cannot necessarily thrive without the other.Maybe a new server(?) where everything starts from zero.

And he punches among the top most. B, if you can't face the fact that people who punch a lot still have fun, try it out again. When you have 50k mob, tell me how much fun turf wars is.

Funny belial I said this many months ago.. And you said that you could have fun at any mob level, and at first I thought you were talking out of your arse, as top mobbed player at the time I thought how can you say that?
Then I just punched a bit, played a bit, bored people on the forum a bit and you know what I found?
I was enjoying the game, I'll never have the biggest mob, I'll never invest the money in this you have. But I'm enjoying the people on here, the ones that cap me, as long as I remember it's just a game and not personal, so be it, those I cap, if they ask why, tell them, br polite. Costs nothing.
As with life, the game is what you make it. -
If you think having the largest mob is the only way to play the over 99% players on this game should just quit.
But we all have fun in our own ways. And thankfully the top mobs are actually in my humble opinion alright, bot bullies, not over zealous on the attacks, they are just playing the game.
