Not sure if anyone has tried but I will be flying✈ to Dallas Tx and transferring to LAX in Cali today. I will attempt to drop a turf at 30,000 Feet.

Free Mason tried it not too long ago. I don't think he had success. And be careful. If you're on the planes wi fi, the location tracker will think you're wherever the wi fi is routed from. So if you plant and you're in midair, the location thinks you're wherever you boarded. And the devs might think you're spoofing. That's pretty much how Mystery explained it anyway.

If you use your gps, the location will be correct. I've dropped turf from the air before, with mixed success. It's hard to get any precision at that speed, but it will work. Make sure your iDevice is near the window for a good gps lock.

You need to make sure to place the turf at the edge of green circle that is in the direction of where the airplane is headed. If you don't you may not have enough time to do it because the plane is moving so fast. Good luck!

I haven't tried that.... But a few times I've been riding my motorcycle far off road and have been told that I can't place a turf because I'm not near a highway.

Wifi on plane no gps reception on TW. No mile high turf drop club for me.

However I am in Dallas and waiting for my transfer. Gonna Add the locals and say hi to mystery. 😉
