I really wish I would have installed that app that would allow me to remotely detonate my phone and send your sorry, pathetic excuse of a human being to the hospital or morge. You are a waste of good air in my opinion!

It's only a material Possession. At least they didn't steal your dog(happened to a friend two weeks ago). That sucks since it can't be replaced.

I'm not as much pissed about the material possession. All my games I had to xfer (what a hassle!) my personal stuff on there. Just the overall senselessness of it.

Did you have iCloud on it? Then, you could use Find my iPhone. Ask TW Support for logins post-theft. It'd have GPS location and IP addy, if you're so inclined. Sorry, mate. It's a terrible feeling.

You don't need an app. If you update your phone it automatically has it. It's through the cloud or whatever. Just log in and you can deactivate it and wipe all the info.

I went through the cloud. It couldn't locate it but when I hit wipe it. It said it was wiped. Not sure if it can wipe it without locating it but hopefully it worked.

Seriously though. Would u Buy and install an app that would render your iPhone or iTouch useless if YOU knew it was stolen? I mean it would corrupt everything and not allow it to power up? I would after this ordeal!

Download 'find my iPhone' add in you apple Id and password. It will show you exactly where your phone is.
My mate gave his old 4s to his teenage daughter and uses it to keep tabs on her lol

You can still send a remote wipe and it will wipe the phone as soon as the phone is turned on and gets a connection.

I did the wipe and it will not allow any other action. Thanks for all the suggestions. Cell service was cut off 15 min after it was stolen so they won't be using it for a phone!

Iv never got why people want to steal or damage other people's property. (certainly not in the developed world anyway)

Not a phone, but had my itouch stolen once by what turned out to be a disgruntled TW player.
My brother traced it down cause I'm a technical idiot, we go there, the guy was at a McDonald's... Haha bopped him in the nose, ended up waiting for the cops.
