I just watched the movie last night. My wife is really into the books so she was excited. I haven't read them so I took the movie at face value. And I gotta say I liked it. It was better than I was expecting.

Ok Chiken-
Just because someone had the same opinion as you, it doesn't make it the intelligent, or the correct opinion. And he didn't say anything other than "I liked it. It was better than I was expecting". You don't know his full opinion.

I think the book was better, and that more could have been put into the movie. For example, the scene with the wolf mutations wasn't explained in the movie, and they even changed Cato's death

Ok Chiken-
It was meant to be a blow at Haze who said it was horrible because he didn't understand it. My friend shay hated it because he didn't like the swaying camera during action scenes, and i can respect that. But saying you don't like a movie because you don't understand it is just stupid. Like i said, my little brother figured out everything but the mutts at the very end of the movie, and he's never heard anything about the hunger games or read the books. I also hated when people say "oh, i read all the books and im the biggest fan ever and it was amazing" because it's obviously biased.

Also the collars helped Katniss recognize who specifically the wolves were mutated from.

I enjoyed it! The movie felt a bit like they pulled out just enough to get the story across and prime the customer to buy the inevitable Director's Cut and Ultimate Really-This-The-Definitive-Cut that will be released soon enough.

'Battle Royale'? That's the business!
