The last update that I saw (~2 days ago) was that she was on chemo & having a really rough time (which is entirely typical and to be expected). It must be hell for her parents to watch their daughter go through this. The good news is that she was confirmed to have the more treatable form of leukemia and there is every reason to be optimistic. Cancer sucks & it is all the more cruel when it strikes the young.

Holy shit. This thread strikes home for me. I know almost exactly how they must feel: I'm not a parent in their position but I'm a brother in their position.
Wisdom, Fatal Beauty, I feel your pain, and I know the fear. I hope your child recovers as my brother is. Best of luck and my prayers go out to you and your child. 🙏
