Relentless nightmares?
Forums › General Discussion › Relentless nightmares?-
I don't know what to call it, but it's basically when you have the same nightmare over and over again (it somtimes can be a little different). I have these kind of things all the time but a lot or them are not
nightmares. I just woke up to a tornado smashing through my house and killing my family and I was just sitting there, hurt and alone. (this kind of dream happens at least twice a month. -
Anyone experience these kind of things?

Do you have anything with sugar before you go to sleep because that sometimes leads to nightmares

I remember having this repetitive nightmare long, long ago when I was but a lad. There was a little fair-like thing in a lumberyard, and I was walking with my family, then I'd kind of wander off or something and be chased by someone wearing a hockey mask and in overalls and a white shirt and either machete or chainsaw(like Jason) and I'd run until finally finding my family, but they'd do nothing and not even acknowledge my cries for help, and that's all I remember.
Strange how even now, many, many years later, I can still conjure up the very images from that nightmare, even though it subsided way back then. -

I have talked to some people about it and they say don't think about your nightmares before you go to bed... I never do! They just randomly appear. My dad says I have too much brain activity when I sleep.Sir talk a lot wrote:

Oh I don't get this much anymore. Those dreams went away after I made friends with the new radio my mom bought me after I smashed the last one. But those dreams still haunt me maybe twice a year.Another nightmare I always get is what I like to call the radio monster. Basically this radio that used to be in my room scared me (I was young and eventually literally hit it with a bat and throw it out) and the radio monster would eat me. The twist was that it would turn into different things (from buses to fire alarms) it would make this horn telling me it was here then it would chase me. Idk why but I could never out run the monster I was always slow for some reason in these dreams and my flying sucked (the monster could jump real high) when ur 8 years old and trying to fly away from this monster that is jumping right in your face trying to grab on to you and trying to eat me terrified me.

Mr ace I'm rarely stressed.

Repeating dreams is your subconscious' way of telling yourself something.
There's usually a reminder of something important in the dream, and it won't stop until you understand what it is.
:P at least, that's what this dream explanations book says. -
Well my ex had this dream about a rollercoaster ride going out of control and flipping off the rails. I assumed it was cuz her life was a rollercoaster ride ready to careen out of control lol.
Is your life hectic and a whirlwind for some reason? Hence the tornado dream.
One thing I would try is before going to sleep mentally "tire" your brain. Read a book, puzzles, riddles, computer quiz games. Just some rando ideas hope ya get it figured out! -

That makes sense. I guess for the radio monster I learned you can befriend anyone/anything. And that you shouldn't judge the appearance of something. Because in the very beiginning of those dreams I think I attacked first because I was scared and I though it would attack me.Repeating dreams is your subconscious' way of telling yourself something.

But what would the tornado ones mean?
Realizing the power of mother nature?
Live your life to the fullest? -
I can't tell you why your mind is using what it is. That's what you have to figure out

Erm, well i have a dream where i'm in my local grocery store and someone kills my family... I try to stab the person, then i fall. and fall. and fall. then i wake up, and clutch my bed because i still feel like i'm falling. I have had it ever since my first lucid dream. I don't know why, but it comes back weekly-bi weekly... Any help would be appreciated.

Sleep paralysis is at least ten times worse, it happens sometimes while you open your eyes while sleeping you see shadow figures that you think are trying to posses your soul, my friend had this he was absent from school a day and shaking in class another two he says it's the most terrifing thing that ever happens to him, and he started watching horror movies in second grade
-
Also if your scared of something and thing you'll get a nightmare about it you rarely do
