So I have a 3G iPhone and the new update sucked! So I decided to jailbreak it which I did yesterday. It's cool cause it gives multi tasking and you can change your background.... What I want to know is there anything else cool that can be done on a jailbroken iPhone????

👍 welcome to the club, be sure to check out " mewseek " which is an app similar to limewire. Also if you have backgrounder already, check out proswitcher, they work together flawlessly. As far as springboard backgrounds, check out " glasklart " and look at the description to get an idea of what it is. That's all the secrets I can give you, I'd like to think my iPods unique

Not exactly. The only apps that will possibly slow down your phone from cydia are mobile substrate addons. So anything that changes how your phone works/looks or adds new features to the OS. So basically any applications that you use by clicking their icon aren't substrate addons and shouldn't add extra load on your device.

installous is now run by someone else I heard. It still works I just used it earlier
