What makes you think that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit would make things worse?

History.
That is untrue. Certain people made history worse using religion as a reason. That doesn't make Protestant Christianity wrong. Sure those wars and stuff wouldn't of happened if God wasn't believes in but Jesus is still great and necessary. Many people don't understand that because they aren't filled with the Holy Spirit
