It's been awhile since I've made a debate, so I need your opinion on hunting. I for one think its a sport, what're your thoughts?

Definitely, it's fun to do, is a great way to sped time outdoors, teaches patience, and when you get your kill, you get meat and a trophy. One of my favorite sports of all time.

I go for sport. But I hate hunters that don't even eat what they kill. An example is those hunters that take a bear skull and pelt and leave the rest in the forest to rot. If you want to kill it fine. But don't waste it.

No, i don't believe it to be a sport.
Why? Why don't we just allow humans to kill each other then? It's no different to kill an animal in it's home than to kill a human in it's home. You go into an animals house and kill it, why not humans? Not ethically right, and you'll go to hell/jail for the rest of your existence.
How is it different?

It is different because if humans were not as intelligent as we are today we would be acting like animals, hunting the hunted, predator prey. As we are today like hunting.

I don't consider it a sport. I'm not against it in any way, but I don't think it's a sport. Sport is competition. Shooting a deer from a couple hundred yards away isn't much of a competion. It takes considerable skill, though.

Knife hunting a bear isn't smart lol. Idk. I wouldn't consider it a sport if you're opponent doesn't know he's playing. When I think of sports I think of games and fun. When I think of hunting I think of food and death.

It's not a sport, it's a way to get food, anyone who does it for sport is just wasting meat.
