How to increase your turf limit for free!
Forums › General Discussion › How to increase your turf limit for free!-
Okay, I placed this topic in the general discussion section of the forum since it seems to be the most popular board.
Issue at hand;
- Have you ever wondered how the top influential mobsters have 250+ turfs? Think they are dishing out cash for that many upgrades? Ever notice how at least 3/4 of their most recent turfs (ones located at the bottom) are owned by the same person?Answers? Their using 2 devices (iPhone or iTouch). Think about it. Having 2 accounts and just farming one over and over to infinately increase your turf limits without cost to you.
If you notice that the top 3 mobsters are all doing it. And observing their comments even before the private messages were implemented, there is no communication between the main account and the mule account. Don't you think somebody with enough brain power to achieve lvl 50+ would say something if their being farmed? Also note their win/loss ratios. Most of which are below 20%.
-
Coincidence? I think not. Something needs to be done to prevent more mule accounts being created and having 30+ people with over 20k influence because they are farming themselves.
If that's what this game has come to, and you accept it, I pity you.
-
I think you're on to something mate. Make sure you'll put it through to the devs, only they can clear it up. As for those who cheat...they'll say since it's a maffia game there's nothing wrong with a little cheat here and there, but really putting so much effort in a phone game...c'mon go, get a life you bunch of sad wankers!!! ;-)

U fucken hoobnockers
-
Ive never even thought of that, makes me wish my 1G iPod touch was still functioning lol.
That's unfair though.
-
I've noticed that but didn't say anything about it. It's quite obvious though as one players turf is called like "X's Turf 1" all the way to about 70 something...all created by someother player.
-
Yeah. And the "mule" account always has 40+ turfs at hand at any given time. So it's obvious that they are taking their turf then rebuilding it again so it can be captured the next day.
How lame is that right?
-
It's lame, but really the only way to address it is to use the feed back button and report the two parties
-
Blah erase this post you just ruined it! Now theres no use in buyin an iPhone!
-
Who you calling a "mule"? Some of us have bigger goals in mind that require teamwork and a long term mindset. I held capo of my city for a long time and got tired of being farmed incessantly over it, so I adapted and just act as a consigliere now.
-
Yes, that's the only course of action to take, and I have.
I just wanted to inform the public so-to-speak

I'm calling YOU a mule. Since the 26th of December until now (26 days), you've forfeitted 184 total turfs to El Violeto at approx. 7 turfs per day. I get the number 184 from El Violeto's current number of 244, and the first 60 of his/her turfs are created by him/herself.
Your going to tell me that that's what teamwork is? And that it's for a long-term "payout"? Even over the. Course of both YOU and El Violeto's whole turfwar "career" you NEVER left a single comment on their page?
Yeah right. Nice job putting yourself out in the open.
-
Yo dawgs we best start cappin' on dem farmin punk ass hoes. We gotta be stoppin dem cause I hate kids who be cheatin!
-
Damn, even el violentio has been growing this way? Kudos to you FBI agents out there doing this research lol!
This makes more sense now about those pm's i've got this last week asking if I was marching my turf limit to my total turfs :p
-
Haha. The only bad thing is that by making this information public, more people will try and take advantage of the system this way.
But I just hope the devs seek out a way to prevent this from happening in the future.
-
Wow...now I need to get my wife to make an account... I never thought of that
-
So... If my wife made an account and made turfs for me to take would it be illegal? I personally wouldn't have two accounts... Would that be cheating?
Nick???? Any comments because it's obviously been brought to light that this is going on
-
Bubbles and Stinger Bell is who I was referring to earlier, as Stinger Bell own a lot of turfs named "SB Boost X" and similar...all made by Bubbles.

This would also be a concern. Who's to say that you can't? But then again it is cheating in a sense.So... If my wife made an account and made turfs for me to take would it be illegal? I personally wouldn't have two accounts... Would that be cheating?

Solution? Maybe since they both posses gps capabilities, they would both be stationary at the same exact coordinates right? Then if there was a way to detect that and put a cap (let's say 10) on how many turfs you can capture from a separate account deviating from the same coordinates as the attacker.
But then again you have to think they can just take the iPod or iPhone to work and continue to abuse the system..
Idk honestly. It's a very complicated situation if you look at it from a problem solving point of view.
-
Im pretty sure if people were able to do it you would...

Yes, it does seem to be an incredibly tough fix from a dev point of view...I would say when you are getting around 20-30+ turfs from the same person, that's when it should raise a flag for the system. Because it could just be rivals taking turfs in some situations. But at such a high number (20-30+) it's most likely not and safe to say it's multiple accounts.
I kind of think this needs to be adressed before all the alliances stuff as it is fairly urgent due to how much of an advantage someone can get from this way of cheating.
-
Just a point but are their "rules". Does it say anywhere this isn't allowed? Sure it's not exactly a fair playing fiel but neither it buying don respect points. It's an allowed part of the game.
Could it be banned? Possibly but as far as I can tell it isn't.
Also how do you tell between 1 guy with 2 accounts and 2 friends happy to work together to build up a mob? I mean should treamwork be not allowed?
It's not an easy issue to solve

LOOOOL!!
-
Only there's problem u have to be in 10% influence to take over turf.
-
This is bs and definitely cheating. Ppl need to get a f'ing life, there is no incentive to cheat. Look how awesome I am guys, I cheated at turf wars and now I'm capo!!! Gtfo
-
I undrstand what everyones saying and agree completely that it's not fair, but isn't it true that you cannot capture anyones turf unless they have at least 10% of the attackers Influence?
-
That is true but until you go over that 10%, you can still cheat.
