Just watching the show doomsday Preppers on NatGeo...anyone on here a Prepper?

I know you jest (what with the Zombieland quote and all...) but when a 400 pound diabetic man is talking about his plans to survive doomsday, Rule #1 comes to mind.

Most of these people would do well to realize that their diets are infinitely more likely to kill them in the next couple of years than the collapse of civilization. Let's check the scoreboard, shall we?

I hope these shows are all fake, but I'm afraid that the Lowest Common Denominator is lower than I expected in our socieity.

Never seen the show. But I do have a hurricane chest, an apocalypse backpack, a gas-electric generator, and 25 gallons of water. And of course a weapon at every entrance to my house and a pistol by my bedside.
