I just received some of the best news I've had in a looooong time.

Most of you probably don't know this, but I went to college for audio engineering. It's been about 3 years since I graduated, and I have yet to actually be able to use my degree, or get a job in my field.

My best friend manages a pretty big band, and he has his own business. Today, the bank approved his business loan to start a studio. This means that by January 1st, I will be the head engineer in the studio. Also, I am responsible for equipping the studio with the best equipment.

Just wanted to share the great news!

Also, the business is already in talks with LiveNation to begin a merger with 10 years. Long way off, but such a great accomplishment!

Congratulations! I want to study audio engineering in college, but like you said it may be hard to find a job in that field. Best of luck to you in the future!
