They still have time to worry about that.
The next logical (and at the same time insane) goal would be to have enough mobsters to use all the items.
So if the cap is at 65535 that would mean 17 (weapons in the game that can be bought or looted) x that mob size to use everything you have (since there are only 9 different meele weapons and 4 different types of armor) which would bring you to 1.114.095 Mob.

Then when you reach that and just have to get another 65535 Mob Members, because hey: you wanna use those extra bazookas when you attack a turf.
After that the guy who looted the most bren guns on christmas wins.
But hey that's also a chance for the game. Because at that point Nick can just make the brens a normal loot item and after everyone has looted 65535 of them we will finally have reached the point where the points in attack and defense will actually be useful! Yay!
So what are you waiting for?!
(And yes I do have too much time right now)
Ah and you'd need an income of 112.064.850$ to pay the upkeep.
