On the iPod what did I get? I thought I got the multy app thing.
-
And what's the purple arrow at the top??
-
The arrow means it's using the gps for location aware apps
-
Ohh thank you 😺
-
And the background thing... And folders
-
If you have a second gen iPod touch you don't get multitasking. Only third gen 32-64 gig models. And of course the iPhone 3gs's. I know it sucks....Apple pretty much ripped off 3/4 of there customers
-
When did it come out and how do u multi task?

U don't lose it if u sync it. I upgraded last night to 4.0. Most my apps where gotten on my I pod so I just had to sync them and then upgrade. So no everything is kept.YOU wrote:

Double click the home button to show apps that are open. Remember not all apps are multitasking aware yet and only certain parts of certain apps can run in the background.
-
What about putting apps into folder how do I do that?

And to create folders, hold down on an app (just like when you want to move it in 3.0) and drag the icon over another icon. Then it will create a folder. You can place I think 9 per folder. And to rename the folder just hold down on an app in the folder and then a bar will appear where the name is so you can edit it. Multitasking you just double tap the home button. And to Turn off a multitasking app just hold down the app while the multitasking bar is at the bottom and press the red - in the top righthand corner of the icon.

I like the way u can look it in to portrait view
