I think it's a good fix. Other thoughts?

Should've been pushed to about 500. 500 is easily reached without even punching codes. Seems a fair well rounde number to me

Wonder if Vanden lost his 4k hench now?
-
I wonder if they'll end up making any other changes after their evaluations.

The way i read it the devs don't want any amount of range used in vendettas. Problem is then the bigger mob always wins as vendettas have so many counts against them.

What other advantage do vs have? They can't capture. That means a v player must have a huge limit and the solo mob doesn't need it. Vs must have stamina and health in impossible supplies also. Really too many advantages go to the big mobs. This needs to change. The advantage should go to the vendetta players.DRAMABOT 5000 wrote:

But after rereading I see I've made a mistake. What they want to change is using extra player with small mobs to lower the total average. I don't see the issue here though
-
A player with a 120 is just about capable. But doesn't really change the way this game is currently being played at the moment. I agree that 500 mob seems better.
Players with range will still be useful in a V and I don't see that changing. -

Back when he first announced changes were in the works, nick said he wanted to fix the uncappable nature of the small mobs. Range was not the issue, it was the fact that with 1 mob, the player was uncappable. Even with 120 you can still get range on someone, but he will be cappable in return. The way i read it the devs don't want any amount of range used in vendettas. It's not the issue of small mob count either, there are other factors that affect wether a player is capable or not.

I don't think it's a fix that's taken months of complied data in to consideration. It's a quick fix because he's being forced to do so.
I bet it rolls out with bugs, as usual. He'll try to stop 1 strategy and damage another.

I think they need to adjust it so that if you join a Vendetta no matter what level or size your mob is all Don protection is off. Range is equaled to the average of the V your in and if your a 5 mob mobster then you should suffer as the rest of the V does. We will figure the war stuff out later. Just make it a fair playing field for all. If you "choose" not to punch codes then shame on you.

There are some players with 1000 mob in V's but the influence is so low you still can't cap.

I suggested something similar crazy, only to have it thrown back in my face. Just shows that they weren't willing to take an opinion from someone that was obviously successfully using the strategy they created.
Like I said, this will only damage something else. But they are the professionals so lets wait and see what this well thought out fix does.

No it just means they need to test thoroughly before introducing new features and screwing up the game. This fix is rubbish. If someone finds a way around it again they'll cry "exploit". Not thought out.Vadan™ v2.0 wrote:

Nick if you read this I think that those 120 mob mulesquitos should not profit from the 10% don protection whilst in a vendetta and their cap limit should be affected too. It's stupid how a 121😱 mob "player" (or account to be more precise) can hit cap limit on me (whatever it is, yet I can only cap 10 turf off them or whatever at level 50 before I hit limit. Totally skews the game. If a player/account/family member/county midwife/ local greengrocer/census taker wants to hit the big leagues they need to know how to catch a curve ball. Nuff said. Please sort this.
