My wife and I went to the gun range the other day in San Antonio and the long distance rifle range was closed due to a golfer getting shot over a mile away. Apparently a kid had also caught a bullet in the stomach while playing basketball with his buddies as well.

Has anyone else heard about this?

There is literally a mountain behind the targets.

Last I heard, the police were still trying to figure out if the bullets even came from the range.

Not this particular situation but I have heard of freak shots from gun ranges killing or injuring people where they should have been safe.

The gun range that I go to a cow got shot. They now have a sign that says don't shoot the cows.
