How should these be managed?
I was always of the opinion that you can post on them.
A) so that any noob that sees it knows this is not acceptable, and
B) so that other players can see it and get in on the action if they are close enough. It was brought to my attention recently that there is another school of thought basically being don't feed the troll. In other words don't post and let the thread move to page 2. You may however of course ER and post on their walls.
My concern with the later is noobs come onto the GD and see codes posted, they don't see the reaction until they post a code themselves. Further the punishment is not a severe as their post is not as broadly seen yet they get the same benefit of getting their code punched by players as I have seen this admitted to by a number of players.

I polite pm is usually enough to get them to delete it. I see no need to waste stamina.

But do you post on the thread/wall? Otherwise you can just look like you are being an ass.I drop all of my stamina.

I do the same but on their turf. I don't care if it makes me look like an ass. It gets the message across and they don't do it again. I'm tired of so many players trying to play "all sweet like" in a war game.I drop all of my stamina.

When players post codes in the General Forum, it tells me that they didn't read the rules to the game. Why should I be the one to explain this to them?

Clarification: I post, I wall post, and all my hits are turf hits.
