Here's the math. Each don point costs me .0287.
On average, I will spend 17 don points per turf. That means I spend .4879 per turf. Therefore I have spent about $893 on turf, assuming I bought 1830 turf limit increases.
More math: While playing this game for 8 months, I have spent $640 at work on my one-a-day afternoon soft drink habit.

Try to keep it in perspective.

I stopped raising my turf limit at 100 because I couldn't afford to keep buying points and I already felt like I had been lavish at that point. but then I kept leveling over the weeks and now it's at 112 or what not. I wonder if I'll get one more by the time I get to 100.

back when you couldn't cap turfs below 28 inf, I had maybe 80 turfs scattered about NYC, few above 28 inf because I was getting capped so much. that was my strategy of coming up.

My strategy was to build slow in the empty suburbs of a dead city with nobody around to cap or make money from. I used to drive to plant turf. That got old, so I started hopping. Buying turf made it faster.

845/112. I ammend. I was also taking the bus back and forth from Boston every week and whereas my mob was mediocre by NYC standards I learned I was a bigger player in Boston. when whitey bulger was threatened by me, I knew I had arrived.
