I'm Thinking, if I buy an iPhone in some us site, will it work here in Scandinavia or is it locked to a certain us operator??

More like the iPad and iPhone are two completely different devices with different purposes that just happen to be running the same OS.

If you buy an iPhone 4 in the Us it will be locked to At&t.
