The largest variable in the cost of a hop is the cost to plant. I've seen it vary on my hops from $163k to over $20million. The cost to upgrade each turf is fixed according to your hopping strategy, and easy to figure out. Cost to plant can be estimated based on where you are going. Now get out a calculator and do your own math.

Hopping through extreme rural North Dakota only costs 1K a plant. It's pretty awesome...On the other hand, Minneapolis is quite the opposite...

Just start hopping. You will still be making money as you go. Stop in a safe place for a day or two to regenerate more $$. I've been hopping all over the place and I don't have a billion
