Death Penalty, Yes or No?

I say no, why should the criminal have a nice easy pain free way out, the families and friends of the victims suffer for years if not the rest of there lives, so let the criminal/criminals rot behind bars.

You know how expensive that is to keep a prisoner in prison 60+ years?💰💰💰💰💰💰💰I say no, why should the criminal have a nice easy pain free way out, the families and friends of the victims suffer for years if not the rest of there lives, so let the criminal/criminals rot behind bars.
Also I think the family would get some satisfaction knowing the person who killed their loved one is dead. -

I don't think lethal injection should be the method used. Therein lies a problem.
There's no such thing as rotting behind bars anymore. They get 3 meals a day. Have TV, games consoles, free gym membership... Etc etc...
I often dream of a tax free existence. Jail can be an option!

Only in extreme cases where there is no doubt. Those who have proven themselves unworthy of the title human.
Alternatively drop them on an island and let them fend for themselves. Pretty sure I saw a movie with this as the theme.

'Yes' to the death penalty for rape, child abuse and murder. I'm in the UK where the death penalty doesn't exist anymore, but I am strongly in favour of bringing it back.
-
If the case is open and shut. Guilty! then yes, death

I believe that it should be an eye for an eye.
Everyone has a chance to life, how & what you do with that chance is up to you.
You go out out kill someone, should you still get a second chance, I believe not. -
Now, I'm saying you kill people that are repeat offenders or are 100% guilty. If someone is accused of murder once, you don't kill (unless it was brutal and completely proven so). I don't know why you say it's an easy way out. No one wants to die. If they do, then all the easier. What a waste if air for a suicidal murderer with no chance of recovery.

Also, it's a lot of money to kill them also. Mostly legal shit that should be cut out. I would like for prisons to actually br goven the chance to reform instead of throw them back out in the streets they were influenced by to start all over again. Given current government systems though, I would just say if they have really shown to be insane and a killer they should just be killed. If you are a drug user or something like fraud then they should never be killed.

I just want to note... My initial reaction to reading the title was "lmfao (literally) omfg, I cant believe he went there, this is going to be good" it's late here, but I can't wait to read this later 👍😜

I believe only GOD⛪ has the power to put a man (or women) to death. We have made mistakes before and killed innocent people. Life sentence should be the maximum. (Hard Labour if necessary)

Good question. Our justice system isn't perfect. But that is why the verdict must come back 12-0 from your peers and there is an appeal process. But, for every innocent man wrongly convicted, they probably got the right bastard 9,999 times. And if executed person is later found to have been innocent? What then? I'm a bit of a fence sitter on this.

There are so many that do awful crimes. They know go sure. Kill those. That would keep them busy for years. The others shoul be in jail for rest of life. Don't let them out like the governor from what ever state.

😭🔫=😲=💔God also states to obey the laws of the land and eye for an eye type stuff, I'm totally for the death sentence, if you chose to murder, then expect to end the same way. I also believe in karma, big time, so murderers will get what's coming to them, if not in this life then the 1 afterwards.

That's very tough, correction officers in my opinion are brave to withstand the atmosphere being surrounded by criminals. And before anyone starts making comments, I was a corrections officer for 2 years. I would have gladly gutted some of those fucks like a fish.
I just have to say that if you were part of law enforcement or any form of criminal justice, you'd see it in a different way.
This is why most law enforcement employees are affected because of all the sickening things these perps do.

A life for a lifeThe death penalty (IMO) is totally necessary, like you said,"People just can't stop killing, and won't stop." Although, I think the death penalty should be used only if the offender is a rapist or murderer.

If we actually had a rehabilitation system things might be different. Death penalty, yes. Mainly because I know what I'd want if that were my murdered child. What do you guys think? I think it should be used for those that just can't be rehabilitated. There are just some monsters that we can't control or fix. What's the point of keeping someone that can't and won't stop killing? Nothing. Now, this should only be the final choice.
(I won't go into the topic of how flawed our jails are and how most don't encourage rehabilitation).

If only this were true. A roof over your head, three free meals a day, sports, TV time doesn't scream torment to me. Hell they probably have playstations now too.Life in prison is a life long torment for the offender. Also much cheaper than a a decade or more of appeals and if a mistake of an innocent is jailed, at least it can be overturned. Granted there are some who. IMO, deserve it. It's jus that The drawn out appeals process is very painful for the victims families, so life in prison is, IMO, the better course of action.

Also it's a huge misconception that life in prison cost more than the death penalty. (probably due to propoganda in favor of death penalty). The death penalty cost at least three times more than a life sentence to the tax payers.
Doesn't make any difference to me. I'll gladly pay to kill these freaks.
