  My favorite brand is Schecter. I have two and they're great for heavy metal and just good quality guitars. started off on a takamine acoustic though. That was a great starter guitar and actually just played it in my first gig.

  Been playing for 17 years. My first electric was an Ibanez and it's my favorite. However my favorite brand would be Fender. Acoustic wise I prefer Martin
