Bad language on turfwars?
Forums › General Discussion › Bad language on turfwars?-
I have been on turf wars for a while now and I have realised that a lot of people name their turf bad things or swear words on the forums. Kids play turfwars too!
Is anybody with me? -
ER them then? It isn't against the rules to swear..

There is always a fine line.
Keep in mind these kids are also hustling grandma and holding up liquor stores 😜 -
Basic swearing, no. Abusive names such as "rapeville" I have issues with.
-
Really depends. And this game is 13+, you know.
-
Don't forget about the drug reference.

Totally sums it up. A bit of swearing is not so bad. Racism, etc? You will find the TW community do not take it lightly...Basic swearing, no. Abusive names such as "rapeville" I have issues with.

By the time I was 10, there was no foul language that I wouldn't enthusiastically use amongst my peers.
It doesn't hurt anyone, it's just crude.
Language designed to put people down is a fine line.
There are rules. It has to be either harmless to the target, or the target must be able to come back just as hard.
To cause hopeless pain with verbal abuse should be completely avoided. It's assault, and it warrants a response. People should take responsibility for what they say.
Swearing is supposed to be fun, gosh darn it!

Who decided what words are bad?
-
Personally, I don't swear, but I'm fine if people do. It is a mobster game. But going racist or the r-word is a whole different story.
-
I know right! I once saw a turf named "gosh darn skalliwags" and another one.... I'm going to have to x out some letters "sh*t up stu*id" it was crazy.

I dont mind swearing as long as it isnt directed at someone, for example I dont mind it in normal speech however here is an example of a message I recieved that I didnt like
"F*ck you you obnoxious c*nt"
(hes so punny isnt he) -
I see there is an app called 'Ghost Bastards', im fucking outraged.
-
Shut up u slaaaaaag
-

Fudge that. I will say whatever the flip I want whenever I darn well feel like it.
Enough of this bullcrud.

Feel free to cuss me the fuck out. I don't give a shit. I draw the line at racist/sexist/etc. type comments. There's far worse stuff on TV and going on in your city streets on a daily basis than cursing.

This 👍. You'll end up with a target on your back by some dedicated people. The cause has had a great success rate of ridding TW of people like that.Hyena wrote:
