USA wins 1-1. That's what the ny post had on it's front cover, on Sunday, refering to the world cup match. 1-1 win?! WTF?

Not that big of a soccer fan but I am giving it a try and I believe that the US team would be able to advance with a win or a tie. Idk I just started watching only recently and I'm still trying to figure out everything still.

I don't like how soccer sounds, because it is called football. But it doesn't matter.

They're calling it a 1-1 win because England was heavily favored and everyone (including all you TW players from England) thought there was no possible way England wouldn't walk away with a win. So the fact that England didn't win was a victory for the underdog team.

if you can figure out football, with first second and third downs and things, then soccer should seem pretty simple!
I'm English, and it took me months of playing madden NFL to work out the rules of football. And I still don't understand them all!

I didn't see the match but I ears the reason USA got a goal was because the England keeper fumbled. Still a goals a goal.

Who do you think will win the World Cup.
