Watching the movie in school. Thoughts on this? I thought she was an amazing writer an had amazing potential but those damn nAzis took it all away. I almost cried when they got captured by the gestapo. In school... It was gut wrenching

I say that movie myself. Horrible how stuff like that happened. Right now this 'Jesoph Kony' is getting big.

Anne Frank was a true person that cared for rightness and life in a way that has true deep understanding. She cared while others became hardened to the world around them.

I feel these people doing genocide is pathetic. Just so laughable about how they reason doing mass execution and genocide. They reason with how people live their own separate and unaffecting to the genocider's life.

Im just so intruigued by her maturity and the fact she always gave people the benifite of the doubt. Even though she was only 15 at time of her death

Joesph kony issue has been big. Just because you and your friends just heard about it and your community doesnt all of a sudden mean oh its big now. But continue to spread the word and support the cause!

I live in the Netherlands an I'm really into stuff like this. Fascinates (no word jokes in this plz) me bigtime.

In 3 weeks i'm gonna visit a concentration camp. Think I'm gonna be silent for a cpl of days...
Also visiting Anne Frank's house in Amsterdam is on my agenda.

Recommendation: The Pianist. Even more impressive than Schindlers List imho.

And Band of Brothers of course. Best series ever.

Me and my have been to Anne frank house, so far it's been the museum we've ever been to. Next we plan on going to aushwitz (*sp).

Auswitch also on our planning.
First we'll visit a camp called Breitenau.
We visited a lot of places mentioned in Band of Brothers already.
Nice museums I visited are in Bastogne (Belgium) and in Overloon (Netherlands).
Also visited a couple of huge bunkers / forts. Coolest one is in Eben-Emael (Belgium).

Anne died in Bergen Belsen. About 100.000 died there. Just imagine... Horrible...
