I just don't understand how people even listen to him. Seriously? Does anyone even know what real talent is anymore? Please post your thoughts about him. Lil Wayne fans, tell me WHY you think he's good. I want a good clean discussion and no butthurt fanboys.

Then when will I ever get a legit discussion with a Lil Wayne fan? I'm totally fine if someone just personally likes his music but nobody seems to answer my question of "How is he talented?". Why does he get all the attention in the world when there are others out there that deserve the spotlight more?

Alot of ppl have no talent but ppl still listen to him because of either they like the lyrics, the beat, the voice etc. and whatnot. Like Justin Biber he sucks but ppl still listen to him because of the music class it's in and stuff. I personally like lil Wayne, eminem, 50 cent and all those ppl.

lots of people can relate to a couple of Lil Waynes songs. The rest are upbeat about sex, money, and fame.
Other people just like his music. Not everyone looks for a message in music although lots of people feel like they can relate to those better

I don't like the vast majority of his music, but that's just because voice is annoying to me. I wouldn't say he's untalented.
