Yup. I tell my wife everytime we go that the only thing I wish they'd add to the menu is bacon. Then it'd be positively perfect.Perfect old school burger stand...menu hasnt changed...no chicken!!! Also, family owned...the founder just died about 6 months ago...not ruined by franchising...🍔

A couple years ago on my way back from a diving trip to Cozamel (Cancun), I had a layover at LAX. We stupidly bolted out to get our In N Out fix but still made our flight to Seattle. It was totally worth it.
✈✈✈🏃💦🏃💦🏃💦Bellevue now has 5 Guys, and they are the bomb. Sorry In N Out.

I like them, but I agree with you. There are plenty of independent burger joints that are better. Most overhyped burger joint in the world!!!

Not if you grew up on 'em... I lived a few blocks away from one growing up. Those who have tried it once or twice and then say its overrated or not as good XYZ burger are missing the point of what causes In-N-Out Burger to have such a loyal following.
No need to try to explain it to them. If you like somebody else's burger, more power to ya, but In-N-Out has been MY burger joint since I was a little kid. Most Californians for the last 40 years grew up on them. Many of those people have moved away and now live in different states. It started out being a California only company, then they expanded to Nevada, then Arizona, now Texas.

Just thinking about their fresh, perfectly toasted bread, thousand island sauce, double patties, double cheese, grilled onions, and their french fries, made from a whole fresh potato, chopped right in front of you and fried up to perfection, while you wait, with just the right amount of salt... Their lemonade and shakes....yummmm. Thinking about all that makes me hungry and it's making my mouth water for a double double, right now.
Closest one is about 250 miles away... Gotta fly up there this week to get my fix. Thanks a lot for reminding me how much I miss them. :(

I wonder if most people know about the secret menu that In N Out has. No one else likes 4x4's ?
-
Love in and out, five guys is very good but high priced in comparison to in and out.

I've tried five guys a few times and it is good. It's also probably the closest I've had to an In-N-Out Burger in terms of freshness and flavor, but *for me*, it didn't completely replace my old favorite.Well In N Out is good, still need to try five guys !
