Remember to ALWAYS add mob. Don't worry if you can afford weapons yet or not. Get the mob while you can...before they quit and can't accept your invite.

For low level defense, Galesi guns are great. Cheap, best defensive value with no upkeep. Buy one and a kevlar for every mob member. As your income increases, you can upgrade to better weapons.

what about grenades? Best attack without upkeep

If you are an attacker, by all means, grenades are the way to go. So many different strategies and ways to play in the beginning.

IMO. below level 25 should focus more on building than attacking initially. But it really comes down to where you are. If you are under constant attack, you will never get up and out if you don't defend yourself first.

As the game grows, more new players are going to be falling into the "fresh meat" category.

Build you defenses first, grow your mob, then when you can afford it, go agro. Battling can be very costly.
