Checking player's activity status
Forums › General Discussion › Checking player's activity status-
Something I've noticed people doing (myself included), is checking, not only suspected inactive's turf ages and comment history, but also their loot lists. We know somebody was active over christmas if they have brens, and nowadays we know they're active if they have any new release loots ...
So take note, all you other noobs. Take note as I have: if the vets do it, it's probably smart. On that note, you can always pm the suspect, but a reply can often take up to a day or two. That's generally just a little too long in the heat of the moment 😉

Also check their XP ratio. Anything over 1 is probably inactive.

Beg pardon? Pray, embellish. 👍

The denominator is the number you must reach to level up. But unless YOU do the action like fight or mission you don't level up. Your numerator will just keep increasing. Go look at some you think are inactive. You will see what I am talking about. Their ratio is greater than 1.

For mathematically dyslexic people .... What do you mean by "ratio greater than one"? How do you work that out? I've checked the xxx/yyy, but don't understand how to interpret it. Thanks.
-
If xxx is greater than yyy it is a ratio of more than 1 for x.
So 200/100 exp is a ratio of 2:1.

I get it. Very good tool.

Ratio trick is great!

If experience earned is more than current level, then the player is inactive. I never thought to look at this. You learn something everyday.

Please don't cap turf from inactive mobsters, just tax their turf. If they can't build anymore than it's Luke free money for everyone around them.

all u need is one turf in an area to increase income.
if they have 7 in close proximity and you cap 3-4, you will make more money than taxing all 7 -

My understanding from Mystery is that the area is the diameter of 3x86 turf. Not the area of the capo. So you could have a turf earning a lot on one side of the capo and very little on the other depending upon how crowded the area is. If I am wrong I hope someone can correct me.zoca wrote:

I think "mystery" wrote this?!.
Plz read this it explains how real estate works! I want to clarify why we DON'T cap inactive people, since several people seem to be confused about this. First you must understand, you need 10 different players in an area (defined as the diameter of 3 86 inf turfs) to make the max income for a turf (up to $53.6k per turf without protection $ or loot upgrades). So you want lots of different people all over. Inactive people will not plant more turf; by capping their turf you hurt everyone's income. Work on planting fewer turf strategically so they earn the most money, rather than having a lot of turf that doesn't earn well. This will also help keep you under your limit so that you aren't stuck in 1 area. -
Continued......
Plus, inactive people don't complain if you collect protection $ from them!) Always check if a player is inactive before capping (go to turfwarswiki.com & look up Inactive). Check the player's wall though; I've been TRYING to leave a comment on inactive players' walls but not all have them.
(like I said I think this is the message you were referring to, but not 100% sure) either way it's good info -
