Guitar tuner app plz
Forums › General Discussion › Guitar tuner app plz-
Guys, do any of you have experience in guitar tuner apps? I see a lot of free and a lot of not so free. I don't mind paying a little but I don't want to pay for a shitty app. (obviously) I just have a basic acoustic guitar needing some basic tuning. Just replaced the string tonight.

I use tuna pitch works well for me, can tune it within 2 cents for all strings

You can just go onto a computer keyboard (that is, the piano like instrument) on the Internet and tune it from there. It will teach you a lot better of you do it by ear than doing it with a tuner.

Those clip on tuners you attach to the headstock work pretty good. Sweetwater has some with free shipping.

Guitar Toolkit is good, not cheap though. Garage Band has a good tuner as well.

I use Guitar Toolkit as well. Great quality app by a good developer. I have their AmpKit+ and the line in adapter (by Peavey I think) and it's a lot of fun to play with.

Buy an electric tuner. It works the best for me, at least until I learn to do it by ear. Most of the apps don't work very well for me.

I do not have a chord. And I'm not a serious player so I don't want to buy a crazy one. Just something for my phone.
