To take over turfs you need to have a turf near the turf you wanna take. The persons total influence should be atleast 10% of yours( ex. You have 100 the person you trying to steal the turf from should be atleast 10. Also make sure the turfs influence should be at least 70% of each other I believe.

You also need to say please when negotiating an offer with the owner of the turf. Remember sell high and buy low!
