When I saw the thread on dipping your razor in rubbing alcohol to stop oxidation and preventing dullness, that made me want to create this thread.
The rules are simple, just share tips with people of things you do to get around paying money/waisting time.
I'll start, next time you place something down do not make a mental not and walk away. Instead say it verbally and look at the object. By saying it out loud, you will be able to remember it later on.
Your turn ;)

Here's the original instructions from my thread.
I don't know if other people do this but theres a really good way to use a disposable razor over and over without dulling or using the "Save A Blade" thingy. All you need is normal Alcohol (Not drinking). What you do is after shaving and cleaning the razor with water, you swish the razor around in a small cup of alcohol because hair doesn't dull the blade, Oxidation does. Basically the alcohol dries the razor better than air drying does and it reduces oxidation. I know this is random but I hope someone finds it helpful.

Best cleaning product out is white vinegar. My son spilt milk all through his bed and it STUNK. I sprayed undiluted white vinegar on the mattress and left the window open for it to air out, can't smell a thing :)

This is probably obvious to most, but if you fold up a piece of paper or a receipt or most anything made out of paper a few times it will create a hard corner piece that you can scrape out food shrapnel between teeth. You don't have to roll it into a pick/tube, you just fold it into a quick square. Business cards work too and you don't even have to fold them.

1. Rubbing a walnut over scratches in your furniture will disguise dings and scrapes.
2. Remove crayon masterpieces from your TV or computer screen with WD40 (also works on walls).
3. Stop cut apples browning in your child’s lunch box by securing with a rubber band.
4.Overhaul your linen cupboard – store bedlinen sets inside one of their own pillowcases and there will be no more hunting through piles for a match.
5.Pump up the volume by placing your iPhone / iPod in a bowl – the concave shape amplifies the music.
6. Re-use a wet-wipes container to store plastic bags.
7.Baby powder gets sand off your skin easily.
8. Attach a velcro strip to the wall to store soft toys.
9.Use magnetic strips to store bobby pins (and tweezers and clippers) behind a vanity door
10. Turn your muffin pan upside down, bake cookie-dough over the top and voila – you have cookie bowls for fruit or ice-cream.
11. Freeze Aloe Vera in ice-cube trays for soothing sunburn relief. -
I am loving these so far! Keep em up!

If you ever drop a small object on the ground, like a paper clip or some sort of pin, take a flashlight and shine it parallel to the ground. It will creat a long shadow and you'll find it quickly.
Really bad, I couldn't think of any.

Whipped Cream
Lighten coffee. Use a tablespoon of whipped cream as a substitute for milk or cream.Shave. Apply whipped cream to wet skin as a substitute for shaving cream.
Condition your hair. Apply ½ cup whipped cream to dry hair once a week as a conditioner. Leave on for thirty minutes, then rinse a few times before shampooing thoroughly.
Soothe a burn on the roof of your mouth from hot pizza. To coat the lesion, fill your mouth with whipped cream and press it gently against the roof of your mouth with your tongue. Repeat if necessary.
Make a sour cream substitute. Mix three or four drops of lemon juice with one cup whipped cream and let sit for thirty minutes.
Give yourself a moisturizing facial. Whipped cream helps moisten dry skin when applied as a face mask. Wait twenty minutes, then wash it off with warm water followed by cold water.
Remove makeup. Wet face with lukewarm water, spread a handful of whipped cream on face, rinse clean with lukewarm water, and blot dry.

Thanks to kipkay for this idea.
