Youre looking only after income. I never played that wayDRAMABOT 5000 wrote:
Yes, that occasionally happens. I feel it is still better to cap actives because 1. There is a chance of them building back, and 2. They are unreliable and can quit at a low level compared to a inactive who is at a good appropriate level. But by capping actives you risk chasing someone from the game

I agree with this. I think there should be a way to kill them. I will never get the person to accept my invite it's a unfair advantage having inactive players around for ever. The big stay big and the small stay small. Think about it.I think if an inactive is capped to zero turf they should be reset.

Yes!!!!!Besises doesn't an inactive help an over limit player more by donating much needed turf?

If someone knows the system, they can cap expendable ones and leave enough turf to keep income boosted

First off, we need ti be able to define what's an inactive? -

Exactly! But if the inactive is the capo of the town and you want to challenge them then it is perfectly alright. Just don't cap too many.Yes, they help everyone and

Inactive are the gold mines of TW, especially if they have their turf clumped together! Obviously in areas with few players, they are needed boost the economy.
Look at it this way. I try to tax inactive players first. If they are removed, then I'm going to tax active players instead - especially any that capped inactive players. Would you rather be taxed or not?
Some might even say capping inactives is cowardly, since they won't ever fight back.

I cap what I can. Inactives have very little impact for players who are over limit except to provide free turf. I think capping inactives is totally fine especially if they are upgraded. Also I use them to turf hop. I always leave some behind. I also try not to mess with some else's income if they are taxing it.I think it's okay to cap inactive turf, as long as you leave at lease one left.

I think this topic needs to be revisited in an era where the largest mobs are almost 80k and with the ease of travel via airports and hopping improvements. There are literally 1000's of players playing everyday. The not capping inactives concept was one that was thought of when there weren't as many players and areas of the map weren't so densely populated.

Theres only just a few big players that police this now anyway. Small towns Mn it is still an issue. But the cities in Mn it is irrelevant now.

Why does it matter? It's not like thay will really care right?

Yea but that happens less now. I've found that if someone is capping inactives a local player will police it more. There seems to he less of a mob mentality about it now. Pun intended.👻🎅💰⚾⛳🏄〽🐸🐯🐺🐮🐵👨👶👵 wrote:

no but the player taxing them cares. you start capoing inactives around me i tax you instead or cap you out if you dont stop. bottom line is its turf wars and its as good a reason as any to fight. like anything else in this game if you piss off the wrong person it will cost you. they are a good way to boost your income especially for a smaller player to get upkeep weapons or to save money to hop. helped me when i didnt have a good income. Why does it matter? It's stupid either way. There are only 2 answers in TW.
1. It's destroying the community.
2. It's a war game quit whining.
People use either/both argument to serve their own purposes sometimes in the same post.
This should be called soapbox wars.

I've never really liked pompous holier than thou assholes that like telling people what they can and cannot do.I think the issue lately has been more of "capping only inactives" instead of "capping one inactive"
It seems that a few inactive turf don't raise flags anymore.. But only inactive turf, that's a different story. Why should someone at level 50
with 1,000 mob be allowed to obtain 100's of turf from people who will never fight back?In my book, that's just cowardice, and I've never liked cowards.
Level and mob size, in my opinion, do change how I look at someone.
A 1200 mob player with 600 turf at level 63, I'm going to look at a lot more suspiciously than a 1200 mob player at level 128 with 600 turf. -
I don't think it's about being a coward. It's usually about a new players not knowing this obviously outdated rule. They're just trying to grow their profile the best way they can. I remember for the first few months I only made a couple hundred k an hour. When I capped an inactive and tore it down I made 1.7 million. That was a day or two worth of waiting for my income to go up. My only other option was to spend money on turf limit and make more an hour. The no capping inactives rule almost seems like it was introduced by the developer to make people fight.
