Not sure. My portion of Christianity kinda doesn't go through lent, we celebrate Christmas, Easter, mardi gras, and only go to church twice a year.

An idea for people having a tough time with whatever they gave up: don't give it up entirely, just on certain days. Example: give up video games on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday.
